This 3M 9425 tape has a unique design. One side has a permanent adhesive, while the other side has a repositionable adhesive. The back side (outside of the roll) has a medium - tack adhesive. It can be easily removed from many foils and films without leaving any adhesive residue. The face side (inside of the roll) has a high - tack or 'permanent' adhesive. The tape is made of PVC with a 58# natural polycoated kraft release liner and has a 3” core size.

Using this 3M 9425 double - sided tape is easy. First, decide which side of the tape to use based on your needs. If you need a permanent hold, use the high - tack side. For repositioning, choose the repositionable side. When applying the tape, just peel off the release liner and stick it firmly on the surface. When removing it, gently pull it off. Since it has a medium - tack adhesive on the back, it should come off without leaving residue on many foils and films. To keep the tape in good condition, store it in a cool and dry place. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures as this may affect the adhesive properties.
