This vinyl insulating tape is great for splicing. It features a 7 Mil PVC film and a rubber-based adhesive with excellent dielectric strength. It comes in a variety of colors.

To use this electrical tape, simply cut the desired length from the roll and wrap it around the area you need to insulate. Make sure to overlap the tape slightly to ensure a good seal.
